It surprised Shaker how much work he was behind in. Dealing with various ponies over the past while had distracted him from a few jobs that required his personal touch. He stood around one of the hideouts that also ran a few questionable items to and from the city. It's been quite so now it was time to get back into it and perhaps bring along a interesting new comer to his group. "Back Draft told me about this Bone Splinter. Interesting kid, time to see what the kid is made of." Walking one of the few doors in the building he knocked on it firmly. "Come on kid, time to get some work done." |

Bone Splinter had taken to her own devices in lieu of contact - she must've been sitting in this room for two hours, maybe more. It was fine, to her. She hadn't appreciated the company of other ponies since she was twelve. She took solace in the things she could do by herself, an example of which rested in her grasp. A disc of tightly-woven bone extended from both forehooves, perfectly round, with two small needles opposing each other - and suspended between those two needles sat another ring, and then another, and another. In total, six rings spun carefully within one another, each one smooth and polished to reflective levels the motions that continued near perpetually. It was enough to mesmerise her, watching the small flickers of her own face in the backs of the rings as they passed. She was entirely still, perfectly serene...until the hard knocks upon the door jarred her from her peace. Her hoof twitched, and a long crack ran up the side of the outer ring, dislodging the needles, and shattering each subsequent circle until all she had left was a hundred fractured pieces scattered between her legs. She watched the shards turn and bounce upon the floor for a moment before she stood and opened the door. "I'm not a kid." She stated quietly, walking past Shaker and slamming the door behind her. |

Shaker could only shake his head with a grin on his face, just like Back Draft said she'd be like. Regardless the rest of his small entourage was ready and it was time to head out into the city. He walked past them, nodding his head for them and Bone to follow after him. Among the many things he enjoyed in his line of work, this particular job was among his favorites. "We are doing collections tonight. After some....set backs I've forgotten about a few of these ponies. This should be a simple enough night." The one eyed mobster looked directly at Bone Splinter, stepping in front of her with a grin. "You'll be handling the deals with me. Time to put your skills to use. Our first stop is not to far. Any questions?" |

Bone Splinter met Shaker's eye, her frown quickly masked behind a layer of bone as her helm - little more than a few sheets of material conjured from the layer of her neck - climbed from her jaw and across her mane to seal everything but her eyes behind seamless white. "No. I understand perfectly." Came the slightly muffled response, the plating hiding most of the bitterness in her tone, and the way she glared at Shaker Down. Her skills? She was a weapon here just as much as anywhere else, it seemed, but at least here she got a bed and food. |

"Perfect, let's get moving." He led them out into the streets of Manehattan with a few destinations in mind. The other three stallions trailed behind him and Bone Splinter, stone faced and focused. A shoddy looking building came into view. Shaker down gestured to his men to get ready. Three floors up, first door on the right was their firs target. Turning to Bone he spoke to her with a light smile never leaving his face. "Ok, the boys will be out here keeping things settle while you and me go inside. A stallion with his wife in kid should be the only ones here. I need you to pin him in his legs as soon as you see him. I need to have a little chat with him and the missus if I can." With that said and a gleeful smile on his face, his magic swung his hammer from his back. The loud sound of wood splintering and shattering filled the small apartment. Their target reeled in shock and panic from the debris that filled his home. The middle aged Earth pony was already attempting to make a break for it. |

Bone tried to switch herself off as she stepped through the doorway and whipped her leg forward. It was a simple construction - Two crescent blades attached by a long stretch of bone between them, thrown quickly across the room towards the stallion. The first blade caught his hind leg and spun, carving a neat, shallow cut around his ankle, with the second whipping around to catch his foreleg and knock him off his feet. Bone Splinter took no time in crossing the room, forming a sharpened horseshoe from the end of her hoof and using it to pin his un-injured hind leg to the floor. She let out a deep breath, and stepped aside for Shaker, both of the stallion's right legs tangled in the crescents and his back left stuck firmly against the ground. |

The hapless stallion yelped in surprise before he fell over, his frightened face looking at the strange pony who had pinned him to the floor. Catching sight of the approaching mobster his futile struggle increased but a smashing hoof to his head stilled his movements. "Look at you, you look like a bug trying to scurry away. I told you what would happen if you'd tried to stiff me." He pressed his hoof on top of his captive's head painfully causing him to try and power his way out of the restraints to no avail. Shaker shook his head before looking to the back room hearing that it was awfully quiet for an apartment of three ponies. "Bone, carve him up a little. Not too much but enough to make sure the point gets across. I need to go say hello to the wife and kids." With a light jaunty whistle he swung his hammer over his shoulder with his magic, easily crashing the door in causing the two ponies inside to cry out in fright. |

There was no hesitation as Bone Splinter reached down, two blades growing from her forehooves and piercing the stallion's shoulders, before tossing him across the room into the wall. He barely made a sound beyond a weak huff as the air was knocked from his lungs. Bone watched as he slumped to the ground, a long blade growing along her leg as she closed to deal another blow, but...hesitated. The stallion was nearly unconscious, and definitely concussed, if the glazed look in his eyes was any indication. Her hoof pulled back to strike, but couldn't take the swing. Who was she benefiting by cutting on a concussed stallion? |

Shaker Down exited the room with a pouch full of bits held in his magic. His hammer slung across his back was stained a dark red. Should have brought something to clean the darn thing but he could ignore that for now. The slight jingle was not nearly enough but he felt his point had been made. Glancing at the stallion slumped against the wall, he saw that he was still mostly whole. "What getting cold feet Bone? I thought I said to carve him up. Whatever got more important stops to make." Walking over to the dazed pony he cracked him across the face with his hoof, slamming him onto the floor. Turning he gestured for Bone Splinter to follow him out of the door. Glancing over his shoulder he tossed a light smile. "Good talk, good talk. Oh yeah by the by you may want to get your wife and kid to a doctor. I hear broken ribs and cracked skulls make it hard to sleep at night. See you in two weeks." The mobster led them out of the building and down that dark streets of Manehattan once more. "Next stop the flower shop on 7th." |

Bone Splinter twitched slightly but showed no other reaction as she turned about and followed Shaker out. "Why do you simply hurt these ponies?" she asked, the teenage annoyance prevalent in her voice. "It isn't going to make them pay. It's going to make them flee." She hated this. She didn't want to hurt people...there was a difference between cutting and killing, at least in her head, the latter could be done without an excess of pain. |
